An antique copper Premier System electric kettle pattern no 2655 (without lead) with brass and wood handle affixed with copper rivets.
The kettle stands approximately 10.5in to the top of the handle and measures about 10.5in from the tip of the spout to the edge of the power socket. The handle and finial are made of black stained wood and the three feet on which the main body stands appear to be made of earlier plastic. The base bears the Premier mark, the voltage, the above pattern number and serial number.
The inside does have some heavy scaling, and there are a few minor dinks here and there to the outside of the kettle. Please note that the kettle has NOT been tested for leaks but we are happy to do this for any interested buyer upon request. We cannot of course test whether the kettle is in working order electrically and of course the kettle will need to be tested by a properly qualified electrician. Other than this, the kettle appears to be structurally sound (believed to be Edwardian in age).
