A vintage miniature oriental or Asian white metal bird on integral plinth and with a ball possibly representing a pearl in its beak. It is possibly low grade silver but is untested and we are therefore describing it as silverplated or nickel silver.
There are a few minor dinks to the main body of the bird and the bird's beak is slightly out of kilter. Otherwise the figure is structurally sound. Exact age unknown but believed to date from the first part of last century.
The bird stands approximately 2.375in high to the tip of its beak and measures approximately 1.125in in diameter at the base. Weighs about 16g.
