A vintage Bridge tin, with hinged lid, by Van Houten with the inscription underneath the name “C’est bon bon”.
The interior of the box is more red in colour than is appears in the photographs. The box is structurally sound with a little wear (commensurate with age and use) on the enamelling on the outside which we have tried to show in the photographs.
Inside the tin, the box is divided into 3 compartments. The box measures just over 9in by about 4.375in at the base and stands about 1.745in high to the top of the slightly domed lid. Exact age unknown but probably dates from around the first, or middle, part of last century. The box weighs just over 400g.
