A carved oriental jade or jadeite desktop ornament in the form of a bird, (believed to be contemporary). The bird is structurally sound.

The bird measures approximately 5in across from breast to tail and stands about 3.25in high. Exact age unknown. Probably Chinese in origin. Weighs just under 270g in total.
