A vintage relatively heavy cast metal (possibly gilded bronze) figure of a seated Indian Deity with four arms, two of which at least appear to be holding an object (which might possibly be a depiction of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth and purity).
The figure has been cleaned lightly only, in order to retain the patina. It is structurally sound, but wobbles slightly when placed on a smooth flat surface.
The figure stands just under 3in high and weighs almost 130g. Exact age unknown but possibly dates from the first part of last century.
