A contemporary aluminium Carrol Boyes Overload dish or bowl standing just over 2.75in high and measuring about 6.75in by 4.5in at its longest and widest. Either end of the bowl appears to be supported by two very stylised men (hence the title of the piece, Overload).
The inside of the bowl and the centre of the base are both enamelled in grey/gunmetal and black. There are a few scratchmarks to the outer surface of the bowl and what appear to be sediment marks which we have been unable to remove (see photographs). However, the bowl is structurally sound. Weighs about 425g.
