A small but relatively heavy vintage frosted opalescent glass deskweight / paperweight in the shape of what we think is a Crown.
The paperweight sits on four rubberised supports, but whether these were placed there after production, it is difficult to tell. The opalescence is rather difficult to show in the photographs and is best viewed when looking down on to the paperweight from above.
There is a small chip to the base of the deskweight. No visible makers mark.
The deskweight measures just under 2.25in in diameter at its widest point and stands at just under 1.75in high. Exact age unknown but believed to have some age, possibly around the middle of last century. Weighs almost 200g.
